Deborah Goldman Golan is an eduator and social/cultural entrepreneur committed to tikkun olam, religious pluralism, inter-cultural dialogue, and engaging Israeli and Diaspora Jews with each other.  Deborah made aliyah from the United States in 1972 and moved to Yeroham in 1987. She is co-founder and president of Atid Bamidbar, a organization in Yeroham that builds bridges across the gaps in Israeli society and fosters mutual acquaintance and respect around the common denominator of Jewish-Israeli culture. Debbie has degrees from University of Chicago, Spertus College of Judaica, and Touro College, with expertise in Asian and African Jewry. Married to David, she is a mother of three and a safta (grandma) of four.
