Judith/Yehudis Levitin is a visual multimedia artist based in Miami and a certified art teacher in Florida whose art has won national and international awards. A skilled printer, illustrator, painter, and sculptor, she blends collage, biblical writings, and expressive text into many of her images. She received her AA degree in Fashion Illustration & Advertising Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, an AS degree in Judaic Education from Beth Rivkah Teachers Seminar in Brooklyn, and a BFA in Fine Art and Art History from Florida International University. Born and raised in Brooklyn to a prominent Chabad Chassidic family, Yehudis wrestles with the paradox of being an inner Chassidic woman and an outer secular being.
