The StandWithUs Israeli Soldiers’ Stories tour is an innovative program featuring Israeli college students who talk about the Israeli-Arab conflict, giving a human face to the IDF uniform. In this session, they will share their personal stories and experiences as IDF soldiers and then take questions from the audience.

Born in Lima, Peru, Gal moved to Israel as a toddler, and now resides in a suburb of Tel Aviv. Upon graduating high school, she postponed her military service to volunteer in the Jewish community of Toronto, Canada, working with children in schools and synagogues. Born and raised in Ethiopia, Yehuda made aliyah to Israel in 2009. In the IDF, he served as a border policeman, where he was often stationed at checkpoints and as a guard for holy sites in Jerusalem and Hebron.
