Complex and multi-cultural, Israeli music serves as mirror for Israeli society in all its multi-faceted dimensions. The soundtrack of Israel is a window to the soul of the country and its people. We'll discover how Israeli music evolved from its founding until today, 67 years later. Listening to the songs and studying their lyrics will take us on a magical musical journey through times of peace, war, and love, via rhythms and styles that include pop, rock, rap, middle-eastern, ethnic and more.

Or-Lee Kaidar is currently working as a Jewish Agency Israel Fellow (Shlicha) to Hillel YAD (Young Adult Division) of Florida International University. Or-Lee was born and raised in Haifa, Israel, and completed her BA at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
