To drink or not to drink—that is the question. So many of Judaism's most sacred moments are marked with wine. With Purim just around the corner (one of the holidays where Jewish drinking often occurs to excess), it is time to ask why alcohol and sacred Jewish moments go together like peanut butter and jelly. If so, then how much is too much? What does our tradition teach about drinking alcohol? Together, we will explore thousands of years of Jewish wisdom on the subject and you will leave feeling drunk with information and inspiration.
