Juan Dircie is the Associate Director of the AJC’s Belfer Institute for Latino and Latin American Affairs. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he received his BA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and continued his studies at the university’s Melton Center for Jewish Education.  Here in the States, Juan works at building bridges with the Hispanic community in the US and is leading AJC’s efforts to engage Latin American Jews who have relocated to the United States in the organization’s work on Latino-Jewish relations. Fluent in English, Hebrew, and Spanish, his articles have been published South America, Israel and the United States.
